About Seasons Fire Pits
Seasons Fire Pits has a rather unique origin story. The company’s founder, Anne was born into the steel fabrication industry and specifically, into the production of industrial tank heads. Known as a fabrication shop that consistently meets or exceeds our client’s expectations, Seasons Fire Pits pride themselves in the value, quality, and consistency of construction. Each fire pit is hand-made from either ¼” thick carbon steel or 304L stainless steel. The carbon steel will darken naturally to a rich patina and will last a lifetime.
With over 20 years of experience, Anne developed a keen eye for the sleek lines of steel. She has a southern sense of style reflected in the timeless design of her fire bowls. She has a passion for personally designing a product that will last a lifetime and feels that life should meet her design. Anne knows a modern American design, that will withstand all the elements, is the necessary component to keep up with the ever-changing outdoor lifestyle community. Seasons Fire Pits are made and fabricated in the USA.
Anne lives in Alabama with her husband and two sons.

Q: Where can I install a Seasons Fire Pits fire pit?
A: All fire pits should sit on brick, concrete, stone, or other masonry while in use. They recommend placing a paver between the fire pit and outdoor surface to avoid rust transfer. Seasons Fire Pits does not recommend placing the fire pit on lawns, asphalt, or wood. They suggest placing it at least 25’ away from buildings, structures, vehicles, and any flammable items such as dry leaves and debris.
Q: Is the fire pit safe for my deck?
A: We suggest that you do not place Fire Pits on any flammable or combustible surface such as wooden decks. See the USE + SAFETY tab to learn more about proper installation.
Q: Are all Seasons Fire Pits fire pits made in the USA?
A: Seasons Fire Pits pride themselves on the value, quality, and consistency of construction. Each fire pit is hand-made in their shop in Alabama from either ¼” thick carbon steel or 304L stainless steel.
Q: How durable are Seasons Fire Pits’ fire pits?
A: Seasons Fire Pits pride themselves on quality and consistency of construction. Specifically, they utilize tank heads for the bowls used in their Elliptical and Concave fire pits. Tank heads are the end caps on cylindrically-shaped pressure vessels. They generally comply with ASME standards because of the high pressures they must withstand for use with gas storage tanks and reactors.
Seasons Fire Pits uses a flat, carbon steel, or stainless steel plate which is cut to the exact dimension by a burning torch. The steel is then transferred to the hydraulic press to dish the required radius for each fire pit style. The elliptical styles must then be transferred to a flanging machine to have the exact knuckle spun to the overall diameter required. The Quadrilateral fire pit is made from a square piece of plate that has been dished by a hydraulic press to the exact radius.
Bases are welded to the bowl and a drain hole is drilled in the center with a magnetic drill. Finally, grinders are used to smooth edges around the fire bowl for a finished product. The result is a fire pit that will last a lifetime.
Q: Do Seasons Fire Pits’ fire pits require assembly?
A: Nope! All you have to do is remove the fire pit from its packaging or pallet. Seasons Fire Pits’ fire pits feature a two-piece welded design. Not only does this mean that there is nothing to assemble, but it also minimizes problematic areas or parts that may become susceptible to damage.
Q: What kind of maintenance do Seasons Fire Pits require?
A: It is recommended to empty the ashes periodically as they can be corrosive to the fire pit, when wet. It will also help keep the drain hole open.
We recommend using a rounded scoop shovel to clean out the ash. Some people cut the handles shorter for ease of use.

Warning Pursuant to Proposition 65
Proposition 65, officially the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, is a law that requires warnings to be provided to California consumers when they might be exposed to chemicals identified by California as causing cancer or reproductive toxicity. The warnings are intended to help California consumers make informed decisions about their exposures to these chemicals from the products they use. The California Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) administers the Proposition 65 program and publishes the listed chemicals, which includes more than 850 chemicals. In August 2016, OEHHA adopted new regulations, effective on August 30, 2018, which change the information required in Proposition 65 warnings.
Some of the products offered on this site may contain chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer and/or birth defects, or other reproductive harm. We are providing the following warning for products linked to this page:
For more information go to www.P65Warnings.ca.gov
WHAT TYPES OF CHEMICALS ARE ON THE PROPOSITION 65 LIST?
The list contains a wide range of naturally occurring and synthetic chemicals that include additives or ingredients in pesticides, common household products, food, drugs, dyes, or solvents. Listed chemicals may also be used in manufacturing and construction, or they may be byproducts of chemical processes, such as motor vehicle exhaust.
The list of chemicals has grown to include approximately 900 chemicals since it was first published in 1987, and continues to grow each year.
HOW CAN I PROTECT MYSELF?
The good news is that this law has caused many manufacturers to alter or change the way they produce products, in hopes to make them safer for consumers. However, there are still many items used every day that contain these listed chemicals that cannot be altered. As such, it is important for consumers to be made aware of the dangers and to take precautions when using these items to reduce or eliminate exposure. How you protect yourself largely depends on the product or place and the chemical you are trying to avoid.
WHERE CAN I GET MORE INFORMATION ON PROPOSITION 65?
If you have specific questions on the administration or implementation of Proposition 65, you can contact OEHHA’s Proposition 65 program at P65.Questions@oehha.ca.gov, or by phone at (916)445-6900.
